JBW Warranties

JBW offers two types of warranties: the International Manufacturer Warranty and the Platinum Warranty.

International Manufacturer Warranty:

  • Covers manufacturer defects for two years from the purchase date.
  • Excludes shipping charges for repairs.
  • Does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, aging (minor scratches, plating loss), loss, theft, fire, natural disaster, wear outside stated water resistance, or damage from improper use or accidents.
  • Requires timepiece registration and proof of purchase to redeem benefits.

Platinum Warranty:

  • An upgrade option available only for purchases on JBW.com.
  • Extends the standard warranty by two additional years (total of 4 years).
  • Includes all manufacturer defect coverage of the International Warranty.
  • Adds unlimited battery replacements, one free tune-up/cleaning, one-time free leather strap replacement (if applicable), two free additional links for bracelet bands (if applicable), and warranty-related shipping costs (for US customers only).
  • Does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, aging (minor scratches, plating loss), loss, theft, fire, natural disaster, wear outside stated water resistance, or damage from improper use or accidents.
  • Requires timepiece registration and proof of purchase to redeem benefits.
  • Is refundable within the 15-day refund policy, but not once redeemed.

General Warranty Information:

  • Warranty service performed by anyone other than JBW will void the warranty.
  • Warranties are for timepieces only; accessories are not included.

  • Proof of purchase is required to redeem warranty benefits.

The following are not covered by the International or Platinum Warranties:

  • Defects and damages due to normal wear and tear and aging (minor scratches on the case and/or crystal, loss of plating due to wear).
  • Defects and damages due to loss, theft, fire, or natural disaster.
  • Wear outside of stated water resistance.
  • Damage caused by improper use or accidents.
  • Warranty service performed by anyone other than JBW.
  • Accessories are not included under warranty.
